Beogram 4002 Type 5513: Installing Beolover RPM Indicators, Rechecking Platter Speed, Beginning the Reassembly

Today I changed out the RPM indicator lamps with the Beolover LED replacement modules.  This change in lamps is not because the LEDs will last longer but rather they are more stable as the turntable platter is running. Beolover's Beogram 400x motor restorations have shown that changing these lamps to the LED modules adds some additional stability to the platter motor speed. The reason that happens is because the RPM lamps are part of the the Beogram platter motor circuit.

Here is the Beogram 4002 Type 5513 RPM Indicator Panel.

Here are the original incandescent lamps next to the replacement Beolover LED modules.

The Beolover LED modules come with thin, double-sided mounting tape to secure the modules to the RPM panel and insulate the LED module.

Here are the new RPM indicator lamps installed and working.

Because the new LED RPM Indicator modules are part of the the Beogram 4002 speed circuit I went back through the RPM calibration.

The electrical and mechanical operations are all working good on this Beogram 4002 turntable now.

The next phase is to begin reassembling the Beogram 4002 cabinet components.
I installed the back plate that the dust cover mounts to.  Make sure to put the springs in place for the two bolts that tighten the dust cover assembly to the cabinet.

Next I adjusted and installed the Beogram 4002 deck panels.

The deck panels adjusted pretty easily on this turntable.

Before I add the dust cover to the assembly I will test a few records and see how this Beogram plays.
