My Second Beomaster 8000 Just Arrived!

Addiction in full swing! Yesterday, I received my second Beomaster 8000 in original packaging! Exciting! It appears to be in great cosmetic shape. But I also know it is not working...I cannot wait to take it apart and inspect its innards. Here is a pic as it sits in the box.

  1. Nice to see you also love the beomaster 8000, and am impressed with your technical repair skills. I have an 8000 and had not used it for some years. Recently I set it up and it was working fine and then the 500 milliamp fuse blew. Any idea what component could have failed? I am determined to try and get the unit working again. Thanks.

  2. I think it is time to recap the power supply board (and of course replace the fuse with a fresh one). See my post at http://beolover.blogspot.com/2011/09/first-fixes.html

I think my 2nd 8000 had exactly the same problem. Good luck!
