Beogram 8002 Hood Restoration

 This is just a quick post to cover the restoration of this Beogram 8002. The hood was in quite good condition compared with some I have seen in the past. After what you see in the original post, I worked to extract the trim piece from the original hood:

This trim piece was in perfect condition, no marks whatsoever. Next step was to install it on the new replacement hood from DKSoundParts:

Another successful transplant. Btw, I would not recommend trying to extract your own hood trim piece, you will likely run into a lot of issues and damage the original. It is very fragile and very well adhered. Contact the Beolover if you have an 8000/8002 hood you would like to have replaced!
