Before one can test the RPM stability of the DC motor in a Beogram 4004 (5526) the incandescent light bulbs in the user accessible RPM trimmer panel need to be replaced with LEDs. This lowers the heat load on the trimmers, which in turn increases their stability over time.

After removal of the covers the light bulbs can be accessed:

After installation the covers can be replaced and it looks like nothing ever happened:
